A new lady Carolina, she is 17.5 inches tall . Proportioned just right she is even lovelier in person. a very lovely face with a slight rose to her cheeks. She is dressed simply in a dark red dress of antique fabric it has some wear and some soiling but this adds to her great antique look. The aging I do doesn’t show as well as I would like in the photos on a black doll, but she goes through the same process as all my dolls to give her that wonderful patina that would come naturally if she was all of 200+ years old. Her eyes are of course enameled as the original dolls eyes were and her body is made as the original dolls were as well turned torso and bending at the hips an knees. she has a wonderful little pair of red leather shoes. Her bonnet is made from antique lace. She sits in one of my antique miniature chairs form my personal collection it is not included with the doll but do look at the furniture on my site as well there are many chairs to chose form that can be custom made to fit her exactly. As with all of my dolls I make them in their entirety from the eyes to the little red shoes if you have any questions do contact me by going to the contact tab on the home page phone number and email are located there. the comment box at the bottom of each item is for your comments on the doll.

Hello, here is my newest doll , she stands 20 inches tall. Her dress is made from the most fabulous 18th century silk brocade fabric I have had yet it is a creamy background with sprays of magenta flowers and the scale couldn’t be more perfect. it is deteriorating a bit so I  stabilized it where needed it is also lined with the same fabric as her petticoat, but for it’s age and aside from obvious fading simply lovely. Her petticoat is a quilted silk in a yummy brown tone but it picks up the magenta when light hits it. She wears shear brown mitts on her hands and has the most labor intensive shoes I have made to date. light tan antique glove leather trimmed with black leather cord and finished with antique metallic trim. these shoes have a small heal and are all hand stitched. she is made as all my dolls and has hand fired enameled eyes her wig cap is 18th century lining material and nailed to her head with reproduction antique nails . her wig is hand sewn human hair in a light auburn color with two small lose curls down the back of her neck her bonnet is made from antique lace. She has a lovely face with a faraway look so reminiscent of 18th century paintings and prints I think she also has a lovely shape to her and her dress drapes perfectly. I hope your as pleased with her as I am she is even better in person.

I call this little lady little red because of her red hair and her red tole de jouie dress. It is very old antique fabric with a charming pictorial design. the fabric for this dress actually came from the side panel of an original 18th century dress it was small, either from a very little lady or a young girls dress.  Little Red has a hand sewn human hair wig her bonnet is made from antique lace. little Reds wig cap is attached with rough antique reproduction nails and her body is made as the original dolls were right down to the hand fired enamel eyes I make for all my dolls. she is quite proud of her leather shoes and was talked into raising her dress so we could show them to you. Little Red will be attending  along with me and all my other dolls and furniture ,the  Naperville Antique Doll and Teddy Bear show on June 19th in Naperville IL. at the Wyndham Hotel.

Here is one of my newest dolls she is 10.5 inches tall. She has a very simple look wearing a day dress of 19th century cotton in a blue floral motif. Her apron is made from some very fine antique batiste fabric which mimics the floral pattern in her dress fabric ,  her bonnet is also made from the same fabric.  Her wig cap is  made from 18th century linen lining fabric and she has the characteristic nails holding it in place.  Her wig is made from human hair and is showing the sparse remains of hair  supposedly having survived 200 plus years.  She has a wonderful look and feel when you hold her .

Hello this is my newest doll Lady Colleen she is 14 inches tall and wears a fabulous dress made from antique tole de jouie batiste fabric. I just love this fabric it is so fine and the early folk art design is wonderful.   I lined the dress with an imported Swiss batiste fro strength as the antique fabric is very delicate. her lace bonnet and apron are also very fine antique fabric. The doll is made as the original English wooden dolls were and she has my hand fired enameled eyes. A lovely doll for your collection.

11 inch William and Mary period doll

This little 10 inch Lady was a real project she has a fabulous corset made from a khaki colored silk , it is comprised of six panels all individually boned, and  the boning is decorated with antique gold thread which not only works to hold the boning in place but is also decorative the individual panels are then edged with edging of the same silk and the entire corset is lined with the same silk. this corset followed an actual 18th century pattern.  her petticoat is a quilted silk and she has an additional cotton petticoat under that. The corset was a lot of work . Her open robe dress made form a lovely antique silk that depending on the way the light hits it compliments the petticoat color as well as the corset color. as you can see in the picture she has a custom made William and Mary period chair the chair is included with the doll.   She can either be displayed on her stand next to the chair or actually sitting in her chair . After all why have a doll the can sit if she has nothing to sit on. This is quite a package.  If you have any question please call me or email me you can click on the CONTACT tab at the top of the page. Hello, well the response was so overwhelming on the first primitive I made that I made another for your consideration. She is also 13.5 inches tall.  ,  Her dress  is made very crudely (on purpose of course) as if made by child  just learning to sew. The corset attaches with the smallest buttons in the world made by my own two hands measuring only an 8th of an inch across.  her dress is like a homespun cotton her under garments are also cotton. Her bonnet is an imported batiste fabric with antique lace. she is charming right down to her shoes. She has been aged to look  her 200 + years.  She bends at the hips and knees.  A lovely Chippendale chair or maybe the country chair would be perfect for her .
