This doll is so lovely I have dressed her in the most fabulous 18th century woven silk brocade.  I love this fabric and was able to use the larger parts of the design for the skirt and the more delicate fine part of the design for the upper body of the dress so it is in perfect proportion to the doll. I have always love the color combination of green and pink, and after seeing it in used in a dress from the film Casanova I have been wanting to put the two colors together. Lady Payton has a pink silk underskirt with rosette rushing . I have trimmed her sleeves in the same pink silk as well as the ruffle around her neckline. she also has pink silk shoes. I had some very small pink trim and it seemed just perfect for this ensemble. there are delicate silk bows accenting her neckline and cuffs, and shoes. I also wanted to do something different with her hair also seen in prints and period film was this woven ribbon through the hair so Lady Payton has a pink silk ribbon woven through her hair. I think she has a lovely figure she is made as all my English wooden dolls with enameled eyes, and wooden torso, legs bending at the hip and knees.  I hope you enjoy looking at her as much as I enjoyed making.

Lady M is 24 inch tall . She is wearing the most fabulous dress, silk underskirt with rosette rushing. Her dress is made of beautiful silk damask fabric turquoise and light chocolate brown the photos don’t do this fabric justice it is absolutely one of the prettiest fabrics I have ever used.  I trimmed the dress in turquoise silk and some lovely antique turquoise buds with gold and green silk ribbon. I just  had to make her a straw hat with lace lining also trimmed in turquoise silk  ribbon and ruffle. She is wearing a pair of silver earring I made for her they have a transparent turquoise cabochon center . This Lady M is ready for the ball, dressed in her absolute finest. silk shoes round off the ensemble.

she is constructed as all of my dolls, like the originals bending at the hips and knees hand fired enameled eyes. She has a lovely surprise in that her head turns side to side . Hand stitched human hair wig and hand carved hands. I think she has the prettiest face out of all the dolls I have made her profile is as lovely as is the front view.

This doll was a labor of love and one I will not repeat again. She is a rendition of an original doll. She is fully articulated bending and turning at the shoulders and elbows, and also hips and knees. She is wearing a lovely dress made from 18th century gold silk with a hand stitched embroidered apron from very fine and old fabric.  The apron is held in place at the shoulders with antique bronze pins also true to the original doll. She wears a pair of knit stockings and wonderful shoes with laces . Her hat is also hand made and has lovely antique lace lining. She is holding a very fun wood and rag doll also dressed in 18th century fabric and trim. She is absolutely charming and I am pleased with how she turned out.

The lovely 10 inch doll is made as the original dolls with hand carved legs bending at the hips and knees. She has hand carved hands and enameled eyes. This is Ella a 10 inch Black English wooden doll. She is wearing an 18th century gold dress with a lovely bright 18th century stripe cotton over dress. She has transparent  brown enameled eyes with black pupils, which gives her a striking look.  She wears a micro beaded necklace and a bracelet on each hand which I made from enameling on wire. Ella has a removable turban . She bends at the hips and knees and her arms bend at the elbows allowing you to pose her as you like. I am very pleased with Ella’s look she is even better in person . I have always wanted to make a black doll like her having seen figures in painting from the period that had the same dress the necklace and bracelets.

Hello This is Lady Kate she is 24 inches tall. Kate is wearing a sack back gown with an 18th century print although the fabric is vintage and not 18th century it is aged appropriately to have the right look. the trim and lace are antique as is the rosette trim accenting her stomacher and gown. the under skirt is made of a lovely turquoise silk as are her fabulous shoes which are trimmed in antique rosette trim. Kate has a lovely face which seems to look directly at you she of course has my signature enamel on copper eyes just as the original dolls. She is jointed at the hips and knees as the originals as well. Kate is a wonderful doll to add to your collection. look through my furniture and select a chair for her to display in as well.

This is Lady Abigale she is 8 inches tall and dressed in turquoise green and blue pieced striped dress of duponi silk. Her dress is trimmed in perfect turquoise  green and blue antique rosette trim, What a find! and she has shoes to match.  She is ready for the mascarade ball holding a mask  in her hand. she has a woven silk stomacher of the same fabric as her dress . She is made as all my English wooden dolls with turned torso and jointed  legs that bend at the hips and knees. her hands are hand carved fork type as the original dolls of  the 18th century. she is very special because not only does she have my signature enameled eyes but hers are amber with black pupils they are very subtle but striking. she has a wonderful face aged just enough to give her the appropriate look.

Witch Esmeralda is a little tired she has the baggy eyes to prove it . It seems all her witchy antics have caught up with her for sure this year . Witch Lucinda has had a great year all her spells worked and she is quite happy with all the mischief she has created. Her little pumpkin house is a bit over grown and disheveled. She needs a good home to bewitch this Halloween.
