Thia is a custom made William and Mary chair it feature hand carve 17th century lettering with interwoven vines and leaves. it is quite intricate and detailed. This chair measure10 inches tall x 4 inches wide and 3.5 back to front . It has a slight slant to the back at the customers request to accommodate the doll it was built for which had a slight lean to it when in the sitting position. The legs are lathe turned. it is constructed with mortise and tenon joinery as well as wood peg and wood glue. This chair is made entirely of Black Walnut with a shellac finish.

This is a 13 inch English style wooden doll. She is quite a character.This Lady is elegance with spunk. A bit of a drinker and the occasional smoker. Schocking! But quite likable in her silk gown, featuring a quilted underskirt and wonderful hand pleating on her selves and dress. All the ruffling and trim were made from the same fabric as her dress. Her wig is hand sewn hair. She even wears a pair of silk gloves. As you can see in her undressed state, she has a painted on corsette this is just for fun and I will include pictures of her naked because her clothes are permanently sewn on. As with all my English style dolls they have my hand fired enameled eyes. These eyes make her quite the wonderful Lady and give her the personality that is so love in the original Antique English wooden dolls with enameled eyes.
