Hi Robin – I have a collection of antique doll furniture measuring two and a half inches to the foot. My marionettes measure 13″ high and match the furniture in size.
One of my favorite antique miniatures is a slant top desk measuring 10″ high and I have been looking for an appropriate chair to go with the desk for about 40 years. I was thrilled to see your miniatures in Early American Life and thought there was finally hope that I might find a chair to go with the desk similar to the chair that goes with your “7 Inch fall front desk.” I would like a chair that is 9″ high with a seat 4″ high. The style I would like is one of the following: Queen Anne, Chippendale, Windsor, Sheraton, or Hitchcock. My preference is for Chippendale, but sturdier than the ones on your website. The painted fancy chair on your website might work too.
I would like to send you a photo of my slant top desk. I can email it, fax it, or snail mail it. Please let me know which you prefer and the contact information.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,
Jane Moffett
