Welcome
Welcome to Robins Miniature Furniture and Dolls. All the furniture here is hand created by me Robin Thompson. I create custom sized period furniture for doll and miniature collectors as well as period doll rooms and dolls. All of my dolls are one of a kind. I do not reproduce or duplicate any of my dolls. I strive to make them as accurate to the original look of the 18th century English Wooden dolls as possible. I have studied the originals and researched the materials used, I use the same methods the original doll makers used. An enamelist for 20 years I was happy to create a technique to reproduce the enameled eyes that are an authentic museum quality reproduction of the enameled eyes the original 18th century doll have. The dolls and furniture I make are a labor of love and I hope it shows in each one displayed here on my site. Please go to the contact tab with any questions you have and feel free to leave comments in the comments box under each entry. Thank you for your visit I hope you will visit often.
I would like to invite you to visit my blog.
